The purpose of Step 8 is to prepare a Strategic Plan & Budget (i.e. State Performance Plan) for Early On.

November 17, 2005 - The Leadership Team for the Early On Redesign is seeking stakeholder comment and input regarding the draft Early On State Performance Plan. The State Performance Plan is required as a part of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004. It is used by the state to measure the effectiveness of the Early On system.

Please review the information and instructions in the document titled "Early On asking for comments on SPP", then review the draft State Performance Plan and return comments to earlyonredesign@michigan.gov on or before November 28, 2005. When you send your comments, place ‘SPP comments’ in the subject line, and please include:

• Your role related to Early On (e.g. parent, provider, administrator, etc.)
• The county you represent (state agency personnel can indicate ‘state’)
